Self Supporting Aerial Cables


DESCRIPTION:

Twisted pair cable with solid polythene insulated copper conductor, jelly filled or no jelly filled, polyester coated aluminum tape (PAP) longitudinally wrapped, PE sheathed Self-supporting local communication cable

APPLICATION:

This cables is ideal for long distance and interoffice communication for Aerial installation.

CONSTRUCTION:

CONDUCTOR

Solid Annealed Copper wire, sizes: 0.4 mm to 0.9 mm.

INSULATION

PE,Color code in accordance with standard telephony industry code.

TWISTED PAIRS

Insulated Conductors twisted into pairs.

Varying lay length is designed to minimize the cross talk and capacitance unbalance.

CABLE CORE

10 or 25 pairs are stranded to form a group called unit.

Units/Super Units make up cables of 50 pairs and above.

CORE WRAP

A non-hygroscopic and dielectric Polyester Tape is applied helically with a suitable overlap.

SCREEN

Electrically continuous 0.2 mm thick aluminium tape coated with co-polymer on both sides applied longitudinally and overlapped to form a moisture barrier.

SUSPENSION

STRAND

7 Extra High strength of galvanized steel wires strand together to form the suspension strand.

JACKET

Black LDPE

IDENTIFICATION

&

LENGTH MARKING

Manufacturer's identification, Cable type, conductor size, year of manufacture are marked on jacket at one meter intervals
